Engines & Transmission TAN

We ship high-quality crate engines, transmissions (automatic & manual), outboard motors, brake systems, suspension parts, and other heavy automotive/marine components from our warehouse in Vlaardingen, The Netherlands. Our goal is fast, secure, and reliable delivery across the Netherlands, the EU, and select international destinations.

Shipping Methods & Carriers

We partner with trusted carriers for heavy and oversized items:

  • Netherlands (domestic): PostNL Pakketten or specialized freight partners for larger/heavier shipments
  • EU countries: DHL, UPS, FedEx, or road freight (e.g., for pallets or bulky items like engines/transmissions/outboards)
  • International (non-EU): On request via freight forwarders (e.g., sea/air for very large/heavy items)

All shipments include insurance coverage up to the product value (additional coverage available on request). Heavy items (engines, transmissions, outboards) are securely crated/palleted with protective padding to prevent damage during transit.

Shipping Costs

Costs are calculated at checkout based on:

  • Product weight/dimensions
  • Destination (country/zip code)
  • Shipping method selected

Examples (approximate, excl. VAT where applicable – final quote at checkout):

  • Small/medium parts (up to 10–20 kg, e.g., brake kits, small components): €15–€50 within NL/BE/DE; €25–€100 to other EU countries
  • Heavy items (20–100+ kg, e.g., crate engines, transmissions, outboards): €100–€400+ within EU (often pallet freight); higher for remote areas or oversized
  • Free shipping: Available on select orders or thresholds (check product pages or cart for promotions)

For very heavy/bulky items (e.g., full crate engines or multiple outboards), we may use LTL freight or specialized carriers—exact cost provided at checkout or via quote request. Liftgate service (for delivery without loading dock) may add extra fees if needed.

Delivery Times (Estimated)

  • Netherlands: 1–3 business days (often next-day for in-stock items)
  • Belgium, Germany, nearby EU: 2–5 business days
  • Rest of EU: 3–10 business days (depending on carrier and customs if applicable)
  • International (non-EU): 7–30+ days (customs clearance may add time)

Times start after order processing (usually same/next business day for in-stock items). We ship Monday–Friday; weekends/holidays excluded.

Important Notes

  • Customs & Duties (non-EU destinations): Buyer is responsible for import duties, VAT, customs clearance fees, and any local taxes. We provide commercial invoices and necessary docs.
  • Tracking: Full tracking provided via email once shipped.
  • Signature Required: Most heavy/expensive shipments require signature on delivery.
  • Pickup Option: Available by appointment at our Vlaardingen warehouse (contact us first).
  • Delays: We are not liable for carrier delays, customs holds, or force majeure events.
