1. Returns for Change of Mind

If you change your mind about a purchase, you may return the product under the following conditions:

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned for change of mind:

  • Custom-built engines or transmissions (built to customer specifications)

  • Special-order parts (not regularly stocked)

  • Installed or used products (showing signs of installation, fluid, or wear)

  • Electrical components (ECUs, sensors, wiring harnesses)

  • Fluids, gaskets, and consumable items

  • Items damaged by improper installation or handling

Restocking Fee

15% restocking fee applies to change-of-mind returns to cover inspection, testing, and re-packaging costs. The fee will be deducted from your refund.

If you receive a defective product or an incorrect item, we will make it right at no cost to you.

3. Warranty Returns

Products returned under warranty are handled according to the specific warranty terms for that product.

Warranty Exclusions

Warranty does not cover:

  • Improper installation (including incorrect torque, alignment, or fluids)

  • Improper break-in procedures

  • Modifications (including aftermarket tuning, nitrous, forced induction not originally designed for)

  • Racing or competition use (unless specifically stated)

  • Neglect, abuse, or improper maintenance

  • Damage from overheating, oil starvation, or detonation

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Labor costs for removal or installation (unless specified in warranty)

  • Consequential damages (see Section 7)

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Engines & Transmission TAN is not liable for consequential, incidental, or indirect damages arising from the use or inability to use our products.

  • Liability is limited to the purchase price of the product.

  • Installation costs are not covered unless explicitly stated in the product warranty.

  • Damage from improper installation, misuse, or modification voids all warranties and return eligibility.
